I’m at the airport!! 5:50 AM and it’s pretty much empty at this point. Flight doesn’t go out until 7:50 AM, waiting at gate E9 at IAH…
I didn’t sleep much last night. Woke up really groggy - I think I only had around 2-3 hours of sleep, unfortunately. Too nervous. Also worried a little about Matt’s sunburn. He was orange all over, but I think it was worth it - being at the Houston Free Press Summerfest. (Matt, if you are reading this, get some aloe!) I would’ve been there myself if it weren’t for this flight.
Found out that my grandaunts are joining us at LAX - they’re staying for 3 weeks at Haikou. Pretty cool. I think.
Next blog post (hopefully) will be when I land at LAX…even if I have to type it on my phone!
